Along time ago there was a prehistoric animal that was like a hyena and this animal avoided predators by looking like it from a distance so predators would see this animal and think 🤔 oh no 😢 I’d better run away before I’m lunch even though this animal was harmless to them 😂

I was lucky enough to visit the San Diego Safari Park this month. Nicest and most helpful volunteers and employees ever! It is well worth the trip if you can visit.

I generally don't care for zoos, but I like that the elephants are not in cages and seem to have plenty of space to move around. There's no concrete like I saw when I went to zoos as a kid. There's actually grass to eat, dirt for dust bathing and a pond for them to swim. I also like that there's more than one. Our zoo only had one elephant when I was a kid. Hopefully all zoos are making these improvements for their wild life and animals.
